Its a wonderful piece, the title gets me thinking. I feel this expresses well the containment feeling a figurehead must feel. He can speak but his words and promises are empty and hollow. He's just there to please the sheep but unable to apply power behind his speeches. It's odd when I think about, so many people can watch a figurehead and be listen to them, yet doesn't give em power to break free, the puppet master still pulls the string and sews up his mouth. I'm not sure where I'm going with this, I think I've dug a hole. But I gave it a shot.

And once again, it is hard to imagine this was all done on only a nine by twelve piece of masonite!
